Downtown Bedford, Inc. has 13 individuals who serve on the board of directors. These volunteers have the general power to control and manage the affairs, funds, property, and events of Downtown Bedford, Inc.
Board members are elected to serve a three-year term and may serve no more than two consecutive terms. The DBI board includes representatives from small and large businesses, non-profit organizations, and local government.

Meet the Team
Lindsay SalasMain Street ManagerHi, I'm Lindsay, DBI's Main Street and Farmers Market Manager. I have been with the organization since July 2018.
I have lived in Bedford since I was 4 years old, graduated from Bedford High School, and went on to get my Associate's Degree in Business Management at Allegany College of Maryland. I am happily married and have three beautiful boys, two dogs and two cats. My hobbies include spending time with my family, going to my kids' sporting events, and helping my sister with our dog rescue - Abby’s Angels Animal Haven. My family fosters dogs (mainly puppies or expectant mothers), help with fundraisers, and finalize adoptions. We have fostered many momma dogs and their puppies, young adults, and we can never say no to a dog seriously in need of a place to crash. |
Lorelle SteachAdministrative AssistantHi, I am Lorelle Steach. I am new to the DBI team taking on the role of part-time Administrative Assistant. I recently retired from a long-time career in working for an environmental education non-profit organization. Since retirement, which I failed at big-time, I have wanted to become more involved in the local community, and what better way than to work for DBI. I enjoy spending time with family, volunteering in church events, being outdoors, getting my hands dirty in my flower gardens, and, most of all, walking my rescue dog, Rosie. I look forward to seeing where this next venture leads
